From the designer: " In late 2022, seemingly out of nowhere, I started seeing a family of cardinals in our yard. Soon after, I learned about the legend of the cardinal and how cardinals are loved ones visiting after they have passed on. My husband and I experienced three significant losses in our families in 2022 and. I find comfort in thinking that my two aunts and husband's grandmother are visiting us and designed this pattern with them in mind. I hope this pattern brings other stitchers comfort, especially those who have experienced the loss of a loved one(s)."
