Proverbs 31:19 by Dirty Annie's Southern Style
From the Designer: "This is first in a series! I didn't know what a distaff was so I had to look it up: A distaff is a tool used in spinning. It is designed to hold the unspun fibers, keeping them untangled and thus easing the spinning process. It is most commonly used to hold flax and wool, but can be used for any type of fiber. Fiber is wrapped around the distaff and tied in place with a piece of ribbon or string. "
Model was stitched on 32ct "Ledger" linen from Be Stitch Me using threads from Classic Colorworks, DMC, Gentle Arts, Weeks, and white "Wisper" from Rainbow gallery for the wool
Stitch Count is 130x155
